This is Renew Our World’s Act page, with lots of prayer ideas, lifestyle actions, and ways to speak up.

Play your part in renewing our world!

National campaigns also have great actions and resources.

Click here for more about single use plastic waste, and here to find out more about other actions you can take to tackle climate change.

We can all play a part in bringing this transformation by speaking up, praying and changing our lives. Here are some ways we can do that:

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

Lord, Renew our spirits and cleanse our hearts. Renew our minds and transform our lives. Renew our cities and rebuild our ruins. Renew our world, in your name we pray, Amen

We can all make changes to how we live to reduce our impact on the earth. Here are some suggestions:

  • Choose more sustainable food – for example, plan meals to avoid waste, choose food grown more locally, reduce the amount of meat you eat, grow your own food
  • Choose cleaner energy – for example, switch to a clean energy provider in your household or church, only heat or cool rooms when you plan to use them
  • Choose a greener lifestyle – walk, bike or use public transport, fly less, buy second hand clothes or clothes that come from a fair and sustainable production chain, reduce, reuse and then recycle
  • Could you encourage your church/group/community to:
  • Start a vegetable garden
  • Introduce a ‘farming God’s way’ approach
  • Switch to a clean energy provider or install solar panels
  • Use cups, plates and cutlery that can be reused
  • Do car sharing
